Edward J. Keane is a civil trial attorney in Sioux City, Iowa, representing injured people since 1979. He attended Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska, where he obtained a degree of Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (Economics) in 1976 and the Creighton University School of Law confirmed a degree of Juris Doctor to Mr. Keane in 1979. He was admitted that year to practice law in Iowa and Nebraska and has been practicing civil trial law since then in state and federal courts, including the federal Eighth Circuit Court of Appeals and the supreme courts of Iowa and Nebraska.
Mr. Keane is a fellow of the Iowa Academy of Trial Lawyers. Membership in the Iowa Academy of Trial Lawyers is limited to 250 attorneys whose primary dedication is trial practice. Membership is by invitation only with unanimous approval by the Board of Governors. Mr. Keane has obtained jury verdicts and settlements in many cases involving wrongful death and serious personal injury. Mr. Keane also represents individuals in workers' compensation cases for on-the-job injuries.
